Platte River State Park, is located between Louisville, NE and South Bend. The park is great family gathering place. It features many cabins (call ahead to reserve), each in their own semi-private area with a picnic table and fire pit. Or rent a TeePee! There is a pool, a pond for paddle boating, tennis courts, modern bathrooms and visitor’s center. On the east side of the park is a 5 story observation tower. The Course:
The best of the best in this state, PRSP is set in the tree-lined hills above the Platte River. The trails are technically challenging, offering racers miles of power rolling single track. But to get to the holy grail, racers will first have to tackle the long double-track horse trails at the start. There are lots of roller coaster sections and a rocky stream bed that will definitely raise the pucker factor, too! Race loop is approximately 5 miles for all levels.
