Party Ride
Distance - 18 Miles
The Water Ride is an annual bike ride with the purpose of raising money and awareness for clean water and education projects in Ghana Africa. The Water Ride began in 2013 with a small group of people riding to provide access to clean water for our neighbors in Tsipasi, Ghana that had never before had access. To date we have installed three water wells and have moved to the second phase of our community development plan which is education. We are happy to let you know that 100% of the proceeds go directly to our work in Ghana. Always have, always will!
Route
Start at Confluence Brewing, head west through Water Works Park to Sully's Irish Pub at Grand Ave and 63rd St. Continue back on the trail to 515 Brewing in Clive, turn around at 515, come back through Water Works and go north at Grey’s Lake to MLK Parkway. Follow MLK parkway with a stop at Fuzzy’s Tacos. Continue past Principal Park, south on the trail and west at Mullet’s, ending back at Confluence.
