Riders will have the option of a 15 or 30mile route that will travel along the John Pat Dorrian and Neal Smith trails
to the Ankeny Market & Pavilion. Stops along the route will allow riders to learn basic bicycle maintenance from
local bike shops, hear advice from experienced female riders and gain confidence to ride central Iowa’s streets and
trails. Riders of all ages, backgrounds and abilities are welcome.
Registration for the fully supported ride is $25 per rider. Proceeds will support female focused programing at the
Des Moines Bicycle Collective. Tickets are on sale now at http://ridewithherdsm.eventbrite.com.
The event is organized by the Des Moines Bicycle Collective and sponsored by Firetrucker Brewery along with
inkind support from several area bike shops.
