Then to Military Rd. turn right again & head back into Sioux City to Riverside Blvd & return the same way to the parking lot where the ride started.

>> OTHER COMMENTS

This years Sioux City Ride of Silence is dedicated to our friend Bret (Bubba) Seefeld. Bubba was hit and severely injured by a motorist in 2008. After making a long recovery he is back to riding again. His friends and family are very fortunate to still have him with us, as he is loved by all who know him. The ride is to be no faster then 12 mph & completely silent, no talking or music. Hand signals will have to be used to communicate, turns & stopping. If you would like you can wear a black arm or bike band to honor & remember those injured or killed while cycling or a red arm or bike band if you personally know or knew someone injured or killed while cycling. There will be red & black ribbon at the start if you wish to do so. It is very important & asked to all participating that no talking & only a speed of no more then 12 mph be observed during the ride. Please respect this because of what the ride is about.
