People in Iowa are used to hearing about RAGBRAI in the summer, but today some bikers braved the chilly air for a ride in Perry. The Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual BRR (Bike Ride to Rippey) Ride today.
The route is a 24-mile round trip from Perry to Rippey and back to Perry, with a stop in between for a hot chocolate break.
"It's fun, you get to see the riders and the bike enthusiasts come out and it is considered a RAGBRAI reunion. So a lot of people get together and see some old friends that they maybe haven't seen for a few months," said Wendy Goodale of the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
Along with the ride, there were games, prizes and lots of food. This year, about six hundred riders came out. VIEW BIKEIOWA PHOTOS
