29th Annual BRR Ride- Icicles & Bicycles...it's BRRific! BRR is the original winter ride from Perry to Rippey and back to Perry (23 mile round trip). Sponsored by the Perry Chamber of Commerce, all registered riders have a chance to win hundreds of dollars in prizes, $500 in Perry Bucks... and are guaranteed a day of frozen fun! Don't miss this annual Ragbrai Winter Reunion... register today! Awesome weather... ?!? Ok, maybe awesome weather the week before the Brr Ride! The ride held up to it's "BRRness" once again! To me it appeared to be another record turnout. I have yet to hear official numbers! KUDOS to Rippey for taking the extra steps to get people to stay in Rippey for awhile with the tent, heaters and drinkies in the tent. And that one mexican restaurant... You know.. the one we always find after returning from Rippey and engourge ourselves ?!?
