Help make Bike To Work Day a Success! Over 2000 cyclists are expected to register this year for Bike To Work Day in Iowa alone.

Prizes and Giveaways!

Over $1,000 in BIKE BUCKS will be given away this year!

Bike Buck winners will be randomly chosen from the Bike to Work registrations. You must be registered to win!

Beginning on April 3rd 2009, we will be awarding Bike Bucks. The earlier you register, the more chances you have to win! Every Friday we will pick multiple winners for the $50 gift certificates provided by the participating bike shops.

FREE SOCKS - As long as you are pre-registered, and come to one of the Bike to Work events listed on the event calendar, you are eligible for FREE Sock Guy Socks. We only have 500 pair, so first come first serve!

Top Employer & Club Recognition will be given for the top two (2) Top Employer and the top two (2) Top Clubs/Teams at the YMCA breakfast at 7:45 a.m. and Handle Bar Happy Hour on Friday May 15th at 6:30 p.m!

Also, we have two award categories: Outstanding Bicycling Advocate and Bike Commuter of the Year. If you have suggestions for either of these recognitions, you may send names and contact information to mowrystrategies@yahoo.com.

We are working on more prizes! If you or your company would like to donate prizes or help sponsor the Bike to Work Week, please contact one of the Bike to Work Coordinators.

WHEN WILL WINNERS BE ANNOUNCED?
  • Since the Bike to Work coordinators will be commuting on Friday too, we will announce the winners here after 7:00 pm on Thursday May 14th.

I WON! HOW DO I GET MY PRIZE?
  • If you are a winner of Bike Bucks, we will post winners on the website, we will email you, and we will send your prize to you to the address provided on the registration form.

  • You MUST have taken the pledge to Bike to Work in order to be eligible for the drawings.

  • BIKE BUCKS can be used just like CASH at any Participating Bike Shops
