[Last Update: Fri May 15, 2009 11:21:03 AM]

Fri May 15
INVITE FOR NEXT YEAR: All of the funding for coordinating this event has come from Des Moines area businesses and the communities in Central Iowa in the past. While the majority of the registered riders come from this area, you will notice that a growing number of registrants are coming from outside the area. It doesn't make much sense for a winner to receive a gift certificate from a Central Iowa bike shop if they live in Cedar Rapids, Atlantic or Waterloo... let's get bike shops across the state involved for 2010... and have sponsorships from businesses based in other communities to cover costs associated with advertising, website management and paying for breakfasts, happy hours and more. Please contact us if you are interested in making 2010 even bigger and better than 2009!

Fri May 15
All final winners are now posted under "winners." Cash prizes and gift certificates will be sent out next week.

Fri May 1
Why register? We have heard many people say they plan to ride but haven't registered yet. Please register with us. We use these numbers and routes to work with city decision makers regarding bicycling policies. Knowing where you are biking from and to and how often you commute is important for decision making. Please encourage all to register with us.
