Miles Commuted

  • 1,415 Iowa commuters Biked To Work at least one day during Bike To Work Week
  • 448 1st time Commuters registered for Bike To Work Week!
  • The average round trip commute was 8.4 miles equating to over 11 ,932 gas-free, pollution-free miles!
  • Gas prices during the week hovered around $3.09 per gallon thus saving 663 gallons of gasoline (avg 18 mpg).
  • Over $2,048 was not spent on fuel during Bike To Work Week.
