The date of the 11th annual banquet of the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association has been set for Saturday, Feb. 24 -- so please reserve the date on your 2018 calendars.
The fundraising banquet will again be held at the West Des Moines Marriott Hotel, with a social hour late that Saturday afternoon, then a great banquet meal, then a well-known speaker or other entertainment (to be named soon) and then opportunities to give your financial support to the association that does all the marketing and promotion for this 82-mile paved trail that connects 14 communities and for countis in west central Iowa. It is the one fundraiser of the year for the association, which has made the RRVT one of the best-known and busiest recreational trails in America.
