The Army Corps of Engineers is closing down a popular trail at Coralville Lake to make the path's surface more stable.
Veterans Trail will be off limits from November 12 through about Memorial Day. The trail honors veterans from across Johnson County.
Last summer, seven veterans had their names engraved on the trails.
As part of the renovation, all memorial monuments will be removed and then re-installed once construction is finished.
