Child dies when tricycle collides with minivan in Monticello
An 8-year-old has died from injuries suffered in a collision with a motor vehicle in Monticello.
The Iowa State Patrol said just before 4 p.m. Wednesday the child was riding a tricycle eastbound on West Washington Street and collided with the front of a minivan traveling south on South Cedar Street.
There were no other injuries.
The patrol is still investigating the crash.
