FORC Side Thrill Ride is FORC’s (Friends of Off-Road Cycling) most popular race event of the Mountain Bike racing season. It is held at Davenport’s Sunderbruch Park, which was voted “Number One Mountain Bike trail in Iowa by Singletrack.”
The “Thrill Ride” uses the parks natural terrain with leg burning climbs and bone shaking down hills. To make the course even more interesting and challenging there are plenty of man-made technical features such as a large wooden berm, skinny creek crossings and a “party deck”.
It is part of Illinois Homegrown Race Series and the Iowa Mountain Bike Championship Series.
