DANVILLE — At 1 p.m., about 50 avid bicyclists were spread throughout southeast Iowa. They were divided into four groups, one from Burlington, one from Fort Madison, one from Franklin and one from Mount Pleasant.
The groups had one goal: to get to shelter house 4 in Lake Geode by 2:30 p.m.
