Members of the Ames City Council and city staff hosted a breakfast outside City Hall on Monday morning to kick off Bike to Work Week. It was one of several events sponsored by the Ames Bicycle Coalition to commemorate the week as part of Bike Month. Other breakfasts are planned for Tuesday at the Iowa State University Research Park; Wednesday at Brookside Park; Thursday at Jax Outdoor Gear; and Friday at Skunk River Cycles.
