A bicyclist was killed Thursday after colliding with a car in rural Story County.
The incident happened on 580th Street between Ames and Cambridge at about 6:30 p.m.
Authorities say a group of bicyclists was practicing passing maneuvers when one member collided with a car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not been released.
There is no word if any charges will be filed.
