Improving Fort Madison’s trails, along with its parks, has been a
priority among several members of the Fort Madison City Council.
To this end, the council will consider applying for a TAP grant,
from the Iowa Department of Transportation and through Southeast Iowa
Regional Planning, to help fund reconstructing 1,000 feet of the trail
in Rodeo Park at the council’s 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday.
