The following trails are closed due to flooding. We will update this list and the Trail Conditions as information becomes available as well as on our Trail Conditions page.

Central Iowa

Walnut Creek Trail from North Valley Drive to the Bill Riley Trail
Bill Riley Trail from Ashworth Park to Water Works Park
Meredith Trail along Fleur Drive from Gray's Lake Park to SW 16th Street
The Principal Riverwalk along the lower trail portions on the west side of the Des Moines River from the Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge to Principal Park
Carl Voss Trail (fna Des Moines River Trail) from SE 14th Street to SE 22nd Street
Neal Smith Trail along Birdland Drive between 6th Avenue and Saylor Road
Gay Lea Wilson Trail between East Douglas Avenue (Sargent Park) and Hubbell Avenue
Trestle to Trestle trail is close to having water over the trail near MLK Blvd

West Des Moines

Jordan Creek Trail - Underpass under 60th in WDM is underwater from overflowing Jordan Creek. Also 35th underpass is very muddy, but is being scraped this AM.
Raccoon River Valley Trail - some downs trees between Adel and Waukee (we assume these will be cleaned up quickly)
