WATERLOO, Iowa — A Cedar Falls man was taken to the hospital after he was hit while riding his bicycle Sunday night.

The accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Airline Highway when a Buick driven by Darrel Cox, 70, of Fairbank, collided with a John Godbey’s bike. The car’s windshield was destroyed, and paramedics with Waterloo Fire Rescue took Godbey, 48, of 2308 Center St., to Allen Hospital for incapacitating injuries, according to the accident report.
