Two Army soldiers were injured Tuesday morning when they were hit by a truck while riding on RAGBRAI in northwest Iowa.
SFC. Shane Schreck, who is originally from Des Moines, and Maj. Dennis Murphy were riding in between Sac City and Lake View when the accident happened.
Murphy is being transferred by air ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. His condition is unknown.
Schreck suffered only scrapes and road rash, but his bike was destroyed.
