Bicycle accident under investigation

On Friday, Sept. 5, at 8:50 a.m., Clarinda Regional Health Center Emergency Medical Services and the Clarinda Police Department were dispatched to the Clarinda Country Club concerning a serious bicycle accident.
Matthew Dean Goudie, age 35 of Clarinda, sustained a severe head injury as a result of Goudie and the bicycle falling into a drainage ditch at the Clarinda Country Club, and Goudie striking his head on some pieces of concrete.
Goudie was transported to the Clarinda Regional Health Center by emergency medical services. The investigation into the accident is continuing
