Heavy doses of Cranksgiving good for all

The 2007 edition of the Des Moines Cranksgiving Alleycat was held Saturday, November 17th at high noon. Over 100 cyclists participanted. The total amount of food of delivered from Cranksgiving was 2004 pounds! Doubling our goal! Cranksgiving also gave $830 in cash donation. For this event riders will be given a list of 12 grocery items which must be purchased in 12 different stores. All of the food collected will be donated to the Food Bank of Iowa! Thanks to the sponsorship from Mars Cafe and Rasmussen Bike Shop we will be giving t-shirts to the first 100 people to register!
