Bicyclist hit in West Iowa and life flighted to Omaha

Tuesday - June 26th 2007
John Nielsen was hit on his bike just west of Dunlap Iowa on HWY 37 this morning about 10 a.m. by a guy in a pick-up.
He was life flighted to Omaha. He's going to be OK.
Apparently has a broken shoulder blade, a few broken ribs, road rash, and took a bad blow to the head(wearing a helmet).
Extremely lucky he wasn't killed.
John is a long time Team Checker member.
