UI Division of Recreational Services offers Spring Break Mountain Bike Trip to Moab, Utah
Registration is now open for a group trip to mountain bike in Moab, Utah, during spring break 2007, organized by the UI Division of Recreational Services.
Participants will travel together to Moab, camp in the desert, ride the famous slick rock trails, and feast on good food while enjoying the landscape and climate.
The fee for the March 10-17 trip is $545, which includes transportation (including space for your bike), most meals, camping equipment, group expedition equipment, permit fees, camping fees, and experienced leadership.
Registrations are due by 4 p.m., Feb. 28, at the Touch the Earth Outdoor Rental Center in the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. The full cost of the trip is due at that time, although advanced registration is possible. Half of the cost must be paid to register in advance. Fifteen percent of the cost of the trip is nonrefundable.
