Race at Iowa’s newest state park Banner Lakes at Summerset State Park on Sat, May 31st.

Indianola The Summerset Shootout is billed as ‘an extraordinarily challenging mountain bike race’ due to the technical difficulty of the course awaiting racers in Iowa’s newest state park — Banner Lakes at Summerset State Park north of Indianola. Race through the remains of an abandoned coal strip mine. In addition to steep climbs and descents, the trails contain constructed features like bermed corners, drops and log-overs on narrow tread that ranges from loam to sand to rock. You listening yet ?!?
