A New Way to Discover Downtown Des Moines Brenton Skating Plaza and Bike World Announce Bike Rental Partnership

Des Moines , IA Downtown Des Moines has a lot to offer these days. Starting this August there will be one more thing to add to that list. In a partnership to enhance The Principal Riverwalk, Bike World and Brenton Skating Plaza will provide bike rentals for half days, full days or seven days at a time. “Bike rentals on The Principal Riverwalk offer a great opportunity to explore downtown and the confluence of the river, as well as providing access to hundreds of miles of trails,” said Mary O’Keefe, co-chair, Downtown Community Alliance. “ Brenton Skating Plaza is convenient and a terrific benefit for downtown workers and visitors alike.” Visit www.brentonplaza.com for more information and a complete schedule. Rates: Hybrid & Mountain Bike $12.00 per hour $20.00 for half day 5 hours $30.00 full day 24 hours $80.00 one week 7 days Road $15.00 per hour $30.00 per half day 5 hours $40.00 full day 24 hours $110.00 per week 7 days All rentals include a helmet.
