Celebrate National Public Lands Day this Sat. Sept 18th and help build a trail!

Join the Central Iowa Trail Association this Saturday, September 18, from 9 a.m. to noon as we build a new trail to celebrate National Public Lands Day, our new partnership with the Iowa Dept. of Natural Resources and the launch of our fall trail work season.. . Details: http://www.centraliowatrails.org Trail work planned for fall will create about 3 miles of singletrack at Summerset State Park north of Indianola (plans for a freeride/skills park are underway there, too; stay tuned), more mileage at Seven Oaks near Boone and refinement of the ~12 mile network of trails at Ashworth and Waterworks parks in Des Moines.
