The New Belgium Fat Tire Fun Rides are back for 2013! 8 Rides in all which gives you 8 chances to win! They start in March and then a Fat Tire Cruiser is given away in October. LOTS of fun!

Join us for the 2013 Fat Tire Fun Rides! All Fat Tire Fun Rides kick off at El Bait Shop.

Each ride utilizes one or more of Iowa's amazing trail system. It is one of the best in the nation and gets better each year. Oh yeah.. we make sure we stop along the way for some New Belgium goodness.

FAT TIRE FUN RIDE EVENT DETAILS

Saturday March 9th will be the first one! We call it the "Cabin Fever Party" We know the weather can be sketchy in March, but we still plan to have a good time. As the plan stands, we'll meet at El Bait Shop for some New Belgium goodness, then we'll ride to the Waveland to meet up with the S.P.E.R.M. Ride! They will eventually make it back to the El Bait Shop later than afternoon. Not a ton of miles, but a great a great season-starter biking party!
Saturday April 27th - we kick off with the BIKEIOWA Blitz to the Cumming Tap Party. Let's fire up 2013 cycling season right on the Great Western Trail! You know the route to the Cumming Tap and we'll probably stop by Orlondo's Bar & Grill too !
Saturday May 18th - Fat Tire Fun Ride - Saint's Pub & Patio (WDM) Saints just happens to be 25 feet off the bike trail in West Des Moines. We'll take trail almost all the way there, and tip a few on their huge patio
Saturday June 22nd - Fat Tire Fun Ride - Orchard Place Moonlight ClassicOrchard Place Moonlight Classic - We're switching things up with a Night Ride for a great charity while looping the town with friends!
Tuesday July 23rd - Big Ride Pub Crawl and Party - Yep! A Tuesday... It will be short day on the bike.. why not add a pub crawl to your day?? More info to come!
Saturday August 24th - Fat Tire Fun Ride - Ride to Rock Bottom - The Rock Bottom Brewery and Restaurant has treated us great in the past as we love the ride out there on the Bill Riley, Walnut Cree and Clive Greenbelt Trails
Saturday September 21st - Fat Tire Fun Ride - Gay Lea Wilson Trail - We are heading to Sam's Bar and Grill in Altoona for a few cols ones, then we head back downtown for the Oktoberfest!!
Saturday October 5th - Fat Tire Fun Ride Finale - the New Belgium Cruiser giveaway This will be short ride! Only 2 miles round trip! We want you to see the Confluence Brewery that is right off the Meredith Trail by Gray's Lake, and then head back for the Cruiser giveaway that some lucky soul will win!
