Colesburg Gravel Race

Colesburg, IA Colesburg 40, one of the longest running gravel races in the Midwest (19 years) is slated for another banner year! With mild temperatures in the forecast and our new route – this year we are replacing half of the remaining paved section with a challenging yet scenic river bottom level B with a new hill simply referred to as “The Wall”. The course this year will be 42.5 miles (vs. 40.9 in years prior). If you’ve never raced Colesburg before it has 7 major climbs with two of them being over a mile long at grades steeper than 8%!
