40+ racers showed up at the 4th and final Iowa Spring Classic Gravel Road Race.

The strong 20+ mph winds made the rectangular course interested and taunted racers into working together as they rode south for one of the hillier longer stretches. The shorter West leg was semi-tree covered and a bit of downhill which made for some nice recovery and speed. Turning North, with the wind at their back they face some rollers and easily hit 40mph down some hills, the speed was quickly lost as the small uphill climb seemed to get steeper with every lap.

THANKS to the Cumming Tap for hosting again. There were plenty of food and beer available afterwards as it turned out to be a pretty nice day minus the wind.
