Distance - 25 miles or 50 roundtrip

This ride is set up as a nice pre-RAGBRAI ride to get in shape and enjoy the small communities of Dexter, Stuart, Menlo, Casey and Adair along the original White Pole Road. Event starts with a country style breakfast, included in registration fee, in the newly remodeled Dexter Roundhouse served from 7-9 a.m. Rides start at 9 a.m. Sharp.

Route

Route is from Dexter to Adair and back and is part of the original White Pole Road, old Hwy 6, the original river to river road from Davenport to Council Bluffs, designated in 1910 as the "Great White Way", because the poles were painted white, as they are again today, to help travelers stay on the route.
