UPDATE (9/5 9:50 a.m.): The forecast says it's supposed to rain all day. But forecasts change, and maybe we'll get a break from it for just long enough at just the right time. And (as long as it's not lightning or stupid high winds) we can ride in the rain without melting. We (aka Dave) will make the call at 5:45 p.m.

At Kyle's Bikes we want to make cycling fun for everyone. And we think riding bikes with friends is a ton of fun. So on Wednesday nights we host a group ride. Spring and summer, we have a road/paved trail ride. At the start of October, we'll switch to a mountain bike ride.
Our spring/summer ride gathers at the shop at 5:30 and rolls out at 5:45. It's starting to get dusky near the end of the ride, so bring lights with you!
The pace, distance, route, and number of groups depend on who shows up. So show up, let us know what you're looking for, and we'll find a group for you! Generally, we have two groups:
- The paved trail group has riders of many speeds, so it spreads out into smaller groups and comes back together at multiple regroup points. A few experienced riders hang in the tail of the group to make sure no one gets dropped or lost. (If someone wants to make the ride shorter by turning back early, just let one of these rider know so we don't worry.) This group takes advantage of the many rec trails in the area, choosing a 27–30 mile route based on wind direction and the whims of the group. (Routes link)
- The road ride averages 18+ mph for the entire ride including a couple regroup spots. Typical pace when riding is 18 to 22 depending on conditions. This group follows the same 27 mile route every week. (Route link)
We go out to dinner afterward, so stick around.
