Party Ride

Distance - less than 15 miles

Sponsored by: Bike Tech, Mulligan's Brick Oven Grill, and CVAST . On November 12th, Bike Tech will host the 8th Annual Cranksgiving in the Cedar Valley. That's right - 8th year.  Iowa's longest running Cranksgiving!!

This charity bike ride will benefit the Northeast Iowa Food Bank with various food items to be purchased on the day of the event. During this one-day charity food drive cyclists will be asked to purchase 10 different food items from 10 different locations. A shopping list and map of possible locations will be provided.  Riders will have 2 hours to collect these items. Make sure to keep your receipts as they will be your proof of completion. 

** If you don't want to ride your bike.... please note that we are offering a short running option to accommodate runners.  
** Don't feel like riding/running or want to finish early? No problem! Cranksgiving is also about hanging with friends and family and having tons of fun... and donating to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. 

** This event will happen regardless of the weather. Please come prepared. If you don't want to ride, please consider donating some $$ or a of couple canned items that will go to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.  Drop box available at Bike Tech.

First 50 registered get an awesome t-shirt

On site registration will start at 11:00am. Ride start at 11:30am (SHARP) 


Required: bicycle, helmet, a little money,  lots of smiles


Recommended: bookbag/messenger bag, rack & bags, bike lock, warm clothes
