Another great night for Renegade Cross! And the No-Rain Prayers worked! As I write this there is Thunder outside.
75-80 souls showed up for a good preview of what the Capital City Cross Race will be like on Sept 25th. Robby V laid out a sweet flowing course utilizing the Northwest part of Witmer park. Lot of turns, twists, ruts, and acorns this week. The new "Renegade Clock" told me what felt like 30 minutes was only 10!
THANKS to those who helped tear down the course!! We LOVE the "Team Effort"!!!
Afterwards a crew went to AK O'Connors in Beaverdale for grub & drink. Good times.
Left Over Stuff (We will bring to Renegade Cross next Wed. Or email Biker@BIKEIOWA.com if you need 'em sooner)
1) White Specialized Aurora Helmet
2) Paid of Black Adidas sandals
Reminder: The 1st cyclocross race of the season is this Sunday in North Liberty. The BOBBERS CROSS I will run right through the beer garden and use the volleyball courts as part of the course. You can bet on some fast flat laps that will be fun for all skill levels.
BIKEIOWA is planning to take an RV from Ankeny to North Liberty early on Sunday as racing begins at 10:30 am. We can haul 8-10 folks with bikes. We have 4 committed so far. Email Biker@BIKEIOWA.com if you are interested in riding up.
Until Then - Ride Safe!
