the time is NOW.  please read along, and pay attention, lots going on with week #1 of RENEGADE!

-location: GOOD PARK (WEDNESDAY, SEPT 1).  a cyclocross favorite, nestled right at university and keo way in the heart of des moines.  for WEEK ONE ONLY, we're doing a 'clinic' at 5:30, 'racing' at 6:15.  every week after we straight up 'race' at 5:30. More info

-REMEMBER, we're at the mercy of des moines park and rec to give us the 'all systems go' regarding using the parks if weather is inclimate.  right now, it appears that could be the case. so  CHECK THE SITE ON WEDNESDAY to insure it's a GO.  i don't want anyone sitting all alone at good park!

-for week 1, if we DO  happen to get rained out of the parks, we still have a plan!!!  we'll be heading to MULLETS BAR AND GRILL (of urban assault ride fame).  they have graciously agreed to let us use the 'grassy knoll' behind/beside the bar for the CLINIC.  but the 'RACE' will be cancelled.  again, CHECK THE SITE to get the lowdown on what the final plan is.  so if rainy, we'll still do a little clinic, then talk about cross and have a few drinks.  cool?  huge thanks to MULLETS for the assistance.  

-a few important notes.  RENEGADE is FREE!  RENEGADE is LOW KEY and a RENEGADE is a GREAT place for all ability levels.  TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

-CHECK IT OUT!!! we have EXACTLY 60 very cool, very sweet RENEGADE CYCLOCROSS t-shirts, designed by local hero brian duffy.  they are 20 bucks each.  when they're gone, they're gone!  we will have them for sale on wednesday. ALL PROCEEDS will go to covering costs of insurance, supplies, etc to insure renegade continues to be a FREE event.

-still need more reasons to come to renegade?  come to help chad vande lune....one of the BEST people in des moines cycling community.....celebrate his BIRTHDAY.  don't miss it!
