The pain and fun finally begins tomorrow: Spooky 'Cross at Living History Farms! We kick-off Saturay at noon and Sunday at 10 am - see flyer on the race website for details. If you have any last-minute questions, don't hesitate to give me (JJ Bailey) a call at 371-3391. A few last minute notes below:
1.) entrance for Saturday's race off Douglas Ave will NOT be the conference center entrance as stated in the flyer, rather it will be further to the east (closer to I-80/35) through a gate. Look for the signage on the south side of the street. For those of you who raced last year, it's the same entrance.
2.) there will be race-day registration for all races, so if you didn't pre-register, you can do so at the venue. Registration for each event closes 15 min prior to your event. For those of you who do not have an annual USA Cycling license there is s $10 single day license fee in addition to the entry fee. This license policy applies to everyone, even the Flatland Series racers who have free race entry for Saturday. Sorry, it's USA Cyling policy - not mine!
3.) if you're feeling ambitious you may race a second race on the same day for only $10
4.) Bring your cowbells, old trumpets, or any other noise-maker you'd like to let the racers know your presence on the harder sections of the course - we love it!
See you all this weekend,
JJ Bailey & Tony Nichols
