with our first renegade cross race happening the day after the long labor day weekend, i had no idea what to expect.  would folks remember?  would they come?  tonight we found out!  although the weather didn't yell CROSS (it was hot!), 45 guys and gals came out to get their 'cross on.  not a bad opening tuesday, and lots of new faces were there which is a great sign.

super course layout at union park, thanks to jesse gerlits. lots of tight switchbacks, a little pavement, 2 barrier sections and ONE. BIG. HILL.  some sore shoulders tomorrow from running with bikes tonight i'm sure (and maybe some sore legs, too?).  also, a huge thanks to all the folks willing to take the time to help us teardown.  mucho appreciated!

don't forget that New Belgium RENEGADE CYCLOCROSS happens every tuesday night though october.  but don't forget the LOCATION will change weekly, so be sure to tune in right here on MONDAY each week to see where we'll be on tuesday.
