Ever wonder how great dirt trails are built in the city parks?
Maybe you have never noticed the 50+ miles of multi-use trail snaking through parks in the Des Moines area. These are built by volunteers (not the wildlife or magical gnomes) for mountain biking, trail running, walking and bird watching.

Saturday’s event will be from9:00 AM-1:00 PMSouth of the soapbox track at Ewing Park. Projects include regular trail trimming, boardwalk construction, and water mitigation.
Come help finish the newest addition to the off-road dirt trail system in Des Moines and enjoy the trails afterwards. Gloves and protective gear are recommended; power tools are optional.
