Cinco de Biko is an event that is being organized by Russell Construction on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). All proceeds will be donated to this worthy organization.
Cinco de Biko is a casual bike ride that allows each participant to choose their path to five (5) designated stops.
- Bent River Brewery (512 24th St - Rock Island)
- Great River Brewery (332 E. 2nd St - Davenport)
- Rudy's Tacos (224 E. 11th St - Davenport)
- Rock Island Boat Club (1706 Mill St - Rock Island)
- Front Street Brewery (421 W. River Drive - Davenport)
Participants who pick up a bead at all five locations will be entered into a raffle prize drawing! Missed beads can also be purchased at the end of the ride for a $5 donation per bead.
Bicycle is the intended mode of transportation, but everyone is welcome to participate, by any means of transport. We will ride rain or shine!
REGISTRATION
Participants are encouraged to register on-line prior to the event. However, registration will be available at the Front Street Brewery, Freight House location, on the day of the event.
THE AFTER PARTY!
Riders will start in front of the Front Street Brewery (Freight House) and end at Great River Brewery. An after party, including food, will be hosted at Great River Brewery following the ride, starting at 6:00 p.m.
All riders must be back at Great River Brewery by 6:00 p.m. in order to participate in the raffle drawings, costume contest, food and fun. 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase and the drawing will take place around 6:30 p.m. You must be present to win any prizes.
