Every Wednesday evening this summer, Cheryl and Katherine will be hosting a weekly ride for women who want to learn how to mountain bike, want to get better at mountain biking, want to explore new trails, or just want to ride with other women.
All skill levels are encouraged to come ride! You just need a mountain bike, a helmet, and a desire to have fun.
We will make sure no one gets lost and that everyone has support to try new things that they choose.
We plan to meet at a variety of local (DSM area) trails to get lots of experience. Keep checking Facebook and BikeIowa.com for updates. Locations may change due to weather and trail conditions.

Women’s Weekly Wednesday Mountain Bike Ride (WWWMBR) Week #2 — April 9, 2013, 5:30 p.m.
We want to be certain these first three rides meet right where we promised*, so we will be meeting at the Ashworth Pool Parking Lot. Our plan is to ride Denman Woods. At this very moment (Monday afternoon), Squirrel says the dirt is good enough to ride. We will just have to hope we don’t get much rain between now and Wednesday.
Update Tuesday Evening: We are getting lots of reports that the trail is good right now. No rain forecast, so it should be great Wednesday. See you there!
Update Wednesday Afternoon: OMG! OMG! OMG! It looks so nice out. I cannot wait!
